さて、本日7月13日の誕生花は、テッポウユリ（鉄砲百合）をピックアップ！！
花言葉は、純潔、威厳、無垢
テッポウユリはラッパのような形をした、沖縄などの南西諸島に分布しているユリの仲間。
昔、ヨーロッパでは、クリスマスやイースターなどの儀式に、聖母の白ユリとしてマドンナリリーが使われていましたが、日本のテッポウユリが入ると、純白色の美しさと育てやすさから、代ってこの花が使われるようになりました♪
名前の由来は、昔使われていたラッパ銃に姿が似ているので、このような名前になったそうですよ。花の芳香は強く、甘くてよい香りがします☆
